SC 310 VISCOBOND

DEFINITION

Solvent free, fluid epoxy repair, anchorage, gluing and assembly mortar with 3 components. Public Works Pos. No: 04.379/H05

USAGE AREAS

It is used in the repair, installation and isolation of cracks, in fixing anchoring elements, in the structural strengthening of buildings, in the process of sowing sprouts on concrete floors, in bonding processes applied to concrete, stone, marble and metal surfaces, at the fixation of the sprout iron, for fixing the machine to the floor, in the installation of built-in products on concrete surfaces, in anchorage of bolts and pins, in fixing and installation of railway, tramway, metro rail and railings.

SURFACE PREPARATION

Free particles and paint residues on the surface must be thoroughly cleaned, surfaces should be roughened mechanically (blastrack or milling router) and cleaned from dust, oil and dirty with vacuum cleaner, Anchorage holes should be cleaned with compressed air at sowing sprout.

MIXING PREPARATION

After A and B component should be mixed with trowell, scrapper or low speed mixer for at least 3-4 minutes until a homogenous mixture is obtained by paying attention to mixture ratios, component C, which is powder aggregate, is added slowly to mixture and it should be continued to mix until it is completely homogeneous. It is ready for application after mixing.

APPLICATION CONDITIONS

* Surface should have sufficient strength. The concrete should have a compressive strength of at least 25 N/mm² and a tensile strength of at least 1,5 N/mm².

* Avoid application in very humid environments and below 5°C.

* Mixing ratios should be considered.

* In general purpose bonding applications the product must be applied to both surfaces and press and must not be moved until it is completely dry. The holes should be well cleaned with compressed air, brush or vacuum cleaner at fixing of the iron sprouts. The holes are filled with 2/3 mixture of finished product and the iron sprouts are fixed to the holes by turning in one direction. A small amount product should flow out of hole. If the product is missing and does not flow out of the hole, the iron sprouts must be removed from the place and product addition should be made and operation must be performed in the same manner.

* Solvent free

* Because of its fluid consistency, it provides easy application on floors.

* Metal and steel components provide excellent adhesion to concrete.

* 7 days after completing the reaction, resistant to salt water solutions, diluted acids, bases, mineral oils and benzine.

* It is water impermeable with high mechanical strength.

* Provides strong adherence between metal and concrete.

* During sowing sprout, it is easily wrapped to iron and provides anticorrosive protection.
