DEFINITION
Solvent free epoxy coal tar paint with two component
USAGE AREAS
It is used for the protection of steel and concrete structures buried in water and soil, for insulations of tank and treatment plant. As it can be applied alone, it can be applied on epoxy primer and intermediate layers. It’s resistance to wear, rust, salt water and chemicals is high.

SURFACE PREPARATION
All materials must be primed, clean and dry. The surfaces to be applied should be cleaned from oil, dust, etc.. Pre-painted and composite surfaces should be cleaned with epoxy thinner, then sanding with 80-120 sand corundum must be done.
MIXING PREPARATION
A and B components should be mixed with a low speed mixer for at least 3-4 minutes until a homogenous mixture is obtained by paying attention to mixture ratios. It is ready for application after mixing.
COATING SYSTEM
It can be applied by brush, roller and spray. Thinner is used for thinning in spray application. Paint thinned to viscosity at 18-20 sec/DIN CUP4/20°C can be applied with gun to give 35-40 micron dry film on metal. The prepared mixture is applied without diluting in brush or roller application.
APPLICATION CONDITIONS
* Avoid applications under 10°C and in very humid environments.
