SURFACE PREPARATION
Surface preparation is very important so that the epoxy paint can show the expected performance. The surface must be mechanically grounded and sanded to remove dirt, dust, grease and oil. It is especially recommended to sandblast at least Sa 1 degree according to Swedish standard SIS 05 59 00 for surface cleaning. The first coat of primer is applied immediately after sandblasting..
MIXING PREPARATION
A and B component should be mixed with a low speed mixer for at least 3-4 minutes until a homogenous mixture is obtained by paying attention to mixture ratios. It is ready for application after mixing.
COATING SYSTEM
In application with primer prepared, bolt heads, welding seams and sharp edges should be taken care of. Metal surfaces should be applied one or two coats with a total dry film thickness of 40-50 microns
