Two-component, solvent-based epoxy resin paint, resistant to temperatures up to 350°C.
Product Description:
This is a two-component, solvent-based, specially formulated epoxy resin paint with high temperature resistance. Thanks to its heat-resistant pigments, it maintains its performance on surfaces exposed to temperatures up to 350°C.
Under high temperatures, softening and darkening of the film layer may occur; however, the product is non-flammable and retains its protective properties on the surface.
It is used as a protective coating on metal and concrete surfaces exposed to high temperatures in industrial facilities.
Areas of application:
- Industrial metal surfaces
- Steel structures exposed to high temperatures
- Furnace exteriors
- Chimney and exhaust systems
- Heating lines and piping systems
- Concrete surfaces (areas exposed to high temperatures)
Key Features:
- Heat resistance up to 350°C
- Flame-retardant structure
- Heat-resistant pigment technology
- High adhesion to metal and concrete surfaces
- Suitable for industrial use
- Solvent-based epoxy protective system

SURFACE PREPARATION
Surface preparation is very important so that the epoxy paint can show the expected performance. The surface must be ground with abrasive methods by mechanical methods and cleaned of dirt, dust, grease and oil. It is especially recommended to sandblast at least Sa 2½ degree according to Swedish standard SIS 05 59 00 for surface cleaning. The first coat of primer is applied immediately after sandblasting.
MIXING PREPARATION
A and B component should be mixed with a low speed mixer for at least 3-4 minutes until a homogenous mixture is obtained by paying attention to mixture ratios. It is ready for application after mixing.
COATING SYSTEM
It can be applied by brush, roller and spray. Thinner is used for thinning in application by spraying on metal surfaces. Paint thinned to viscocity at 18-20 sn /DIN CUP4/ 20°C should be applied to metal surfaces as one or two coats with a total dry film thickness of 30-35 micron. As application layers increase, product resistance to fire increases proportionally. The mixture prepared by application with brush or roller is applied without thinning.
APPLICATION CONDITIONS
Avoid application in very humid environments and below 10°C.
