Two-component, solvent-free self-leveling epoxy topcoat.
Public Works Item No: 04.379/H03
Product Description:
This two-component, solvent-free self-leveling epoxy is a high-performance topcoat developed for industrial floors. Thanks to its self-leveling structure, it creates a smooth, aesthetically pleasing, and homogeneous layer on the surface. With its high mechanical strength and abrasion resistance, it is durable against heavy traffic and loads. Its solvent-free formula is environmentally and user-friendly and easy to clean. The product can be used as a topcoat in multilayer epoxy systems or as a standalone self-leveling coating.
Areas of application:
This epoxy topcoat can be used in industrial areas where hygiene is important, such as factories and assembly plants, warehouses, aircraft hangars, shops, parking lots, food facilities, hospitals, chemical and pharmaceutical industries, and power plants. It enhances floor performance as the topcoat in multilayer systems, while providing a durable and aesthetically pleasing surface when applied alone.
Key Features:
- Self-leveling feature for a smooth and homogeneous surface
- High mechanical strength and abrasion resistance
- Easy to clean and hygienic
- Suitable for use as the final layer in multilayer systems or alone
- Safe and durable in industrial areas such as factories, warehouses, hospitals, food facilities and power plants

SURFACE PREPARATION
The surfaces to be applied must be free from oil, dust, and dirty. Free parts on the surface, cement grout on concrete surfaces and parts that prevent adhesion must be cleaned.
MIXING PREPARATION
A and B component should be mixed with a low speed mixer for at least 3-4 minutes until a homogenous mixture is obtained by paying attention to mixture ratios. It is ready for application after mixing.
COATING SYSTEM
The concrete surface to be applied must be primed with SC 210 Multipurpose Epoxy Primer – SC 215 Solvent Free Epoxy Primer or SC 270 Low Viscosity Epoxy Impregnated Primer. SC 220 Epoxy Primer for 100% Humid Surfaces should be used at humid surfaces. Self-leveling epoxy coating can be applied after 12 hours of priming. The mixture is poured onto the surface to be applied and is spread equally to the surface by choicing toothed trowel depending on the desired thickness (1 mm or 2 mm of tooth spacing), The resulting air bubbles are removed by spiked roller. For brush or roller applications, an epoxy roller must be used. Since the thickness of the roller should be 200-300 microns in these applications, 2-3 coats should be applied to reach the desired thickness. It is recommended to apply PU 125 protective coating with 0,150-0,200 kg/m² waste where high UV resistance is desired.
APPLICATION CONDITIONS
* Surface should have sufficient strength. The concrete has a compression strength of at least 25 N/mm², nd a tensile strength of at least 1,5-2 N/mm².
* The surface must be clean and dry. Humidity must not exceed 5%, If the humidity is above this ratio, SC 220 100% Epoxy Primer for humid surfaces used on humid surfaces should be preferred.
* The primer to be used must have been completed its curing before the top coat application of self-leveling floor coating system is started.
* Avoid application in very humid environments and below 5°C.
* Mixing ratios should be considered.
