Product Description:
This is a two-component, solvent-based epoxy resin-based intermediate primer. It is used as an intermediate layer between the primer and the topcoat in anti-corrosion epoxy coating systems.
It enhances the integrity of the system by forming a highly adhesion and durable film layer on the surface. It strengthens interlayer bonding and provides long-term mechanical and chemical resistance to the coating system.
It was developed to improve the performance of multi-layer epoxy systems applied to industrial steel and concrete surfaces.

SURFACE PREPARATION
Surface preparation is very important so that the epoxy paint can show the expected performance. The surfaces to be applied must be free rust, from oil, dust, grease and dirty. It is especially recommended to sandblast at least Sa 2½ degree according to Swedish standard SIS 05 59 00 for surface cleaning. Abrasives provided surface roughness Medium G 30-85 micron degree ISO 8503-2 should be used.
MIXING PREPARATION
A and B component should be mixed with a low speed mixer for at least 3-4 minutes until a homogenous mixture is obtained by paying attention to mixture ratios. It is ready for application after mixing.
COATING SYSTEM
It can be applied by brush, roller and spray. Thinner is used for thinning in application by spraying on metal surfaces. Paint thinned to viscocity at 18-20 sn /DIN CUP4/ 20°C should be applied to metal surfaces as one or two coats with a total dry film thickness of 30-35 micron. The mixture prepared by application with brush or roller is applied without thinning.
