Two-component, solvent-free epoxy resin-based topcoat epoxy floor coating.
Public Works Item No: 04.379/H03
Product Description:
This two-component, solvent-free epoxy resin-based topcoat floor coating has been developed to provide high performance and long-lasting durability in industrial settings. Thanks to its self-leveling properties, it creates a smooth, homogeneous, and aesthetically pleasing surface. With its high mechanical strength and abrasion resistance, it delivers superior performance against heavy pedestrian and vehicle traffic, heavy loads, and demanding working conditions. Its solvent-free formula makes it safe for the environment and user health, and provides a comfortable working environment during application. Its easy-to-clean and hygienic properties allow for safe use, especially in areas requiring high hygiene standards.
Areas of application:
This epoxy topcoat floor coating can be used in factories, assembly plants, warehouses, aircraft hangars, shops, parking lots, food facilities, hospitals, chemical and pharmaceutical industries, power plants, and all industrial areas requiring high hygiene standards. Thanks to its self-leveling application feature, it creates a smooth and durable surface and serves as the topcoat for solvent-free epoxy systems.
Key Features:
- Self-leveling structure for a smooth and homogeneous surface
- High mechanical strength and abrasion resistance
- Easy-to-clean and hygienic surface
- Ideal for high-traffic and heavy-load floors
- Environmentally and user-friendly with solvent-free formula
- Long-lasting topcoat solution for industrial floors

SURFACE PREPARATION
* The surfaces to be applied must be free from oil, dust, and dirty.
* Free parts on the surface, cement grout on concrete surfaces and parts that prevent adhesion must be cleaned.
MIXING PREPARATION
A and B component should be mixed with a low speed mixer for at least 3-4 minutes until a homogenous mixture is obtained by paying attention to mixture ratios. It is ready for application after mixing.
COATING SYSTEM
The concrete surface to be applied must be primed with SC 210 Multipurpose Epoxy Primer – SC 215 Solvent Free Epoxy Primer or SC 270 Low Viscosity Epoxy Impregnated Primer. SC 220 Epoxy Primer for 100% Humid Surfaces should be used at humid surfaces. Self-leveling epoxy coating can be applied after 12 hours of priming. The mixture is poured onto the surface to be applied and is spread equally to the surface by choicing toothed trowel depending on the desired thickness (1 mm or 2 mm of tooth spacing), The resulting air bubbles are removed by spiked roller. For brush or roller applications, an epoxy roller must be used. Since the thickness of the roller should be 200-300 microns in these applications, 2-3 coats should be applied to reach the desired thickness. It is recommended to apply PU 125 protective coating with 0,150-0,200 kg/m² waste where high UV resistance is desired.
APPLICATION CONDITIONS
* Surface should have sufficient strength. The concrete has a compression strength of at least 25 N/mm², nd a tensile strength of at least 1,5-2 N/mm². * The surface must be clean and dry. Humidity must not exceed 5%, If the humidity is above this ratio, SC 220 100% Epoxy Primer for humid surfaces used on humid surfaces should be preferred. * The primer to be used must have been completed its curing before the top coat application of self-leveling floor coating system is started. * Avoid application in very humid environments and below 10°C. * Mixing ratios should be considered.
