BRV SC 210 • MULTI-PURPOSE IMPREGNATED EPOXY PRIMER

General Details

Two-component, low-viscosity, multi-purpose epoxy primer.

Public Works Item No: 04.379/H02

Product Description:

This two-component epoxy primer is a multi-purpose solution that excels in crack bridging and filling thanks to its low viscosity. It penetrates the surface perfectly, providing strong adhesion to both absorbent and normal concrete, cementitious mortar, and screed surfaces. It can be used over epoxy-based mortars or under epoxy and polyurethane top coatings. Its unique formula offers easy workability and high durability during application. It is a preferred choice in industrial and commercial projects as a reliable solution for filling cracks and repairing surfaces.

Areas of application:

This multi-purpose impregnation primer is ideal for use on factory and warehouse floors, work areas, loading zones, and industrial floors subjected to medium to heavy loads. It can be applied to normal and highly absorbent concrete surfaces, fixed or movable concrete blocks, and epoxy-based mortars. It also serves as a reliable intermediate layer for crack filling and repair in epoxy and polyurethane topcoats.

Key Features:

  • Deep penetration into the surface with its low viscosity formula
  • High crack bridging and filling capacity
  • Multipurpose use: concrete, screed, mortar and top coatings
  • Ideal for industrial floors subjected to medium and heavy loads
  • Ease of application and high durability

SURFACE PREPARATION
Free particles and paint residues on the surface must be thoroughly cleaned, brokens and cracks must be repaired, surfaces should be roughened mechanically (blastrack or milling router) and cleaned from vacuum with vacuum cleaner

MIXING PREPARATION
A and B component should be mixed with a low speed mixer for at least 3-4 minutes until a homogenous mixture is obtained by paying attention to mixture ratios. It is ready for application after mixing.

APPLICATION CONDITIONS

* Surface should have sufficient strength. The concrete should have a compressive strength of at least 25 N/mm² and a tensile strength of at least 1,5 N/mm².

* Surfaces must be clean, smooth and dry. Humid is not pass 5%. If the humidity is above this ratio, SC 220 Epoxy Prime for Humid Surfaces should be preferred.

* SC 210 multipurpose epoxy prime should be completed its curing before the top coat coating is started.

* Avoid application in very humid environments and below 10°C.

* Mixing ratios should be considered. Products that can be used upper this product:
