Product Description:
This is a two-component, solvent-based, epoxy resin-based, high-performance topcoat paint developed for metal surfaces. It is formulated to provide long-term corrosion protection in industrial environments.
It forms a hard, durable, and chemically resistant film layer on the applied surface. It exhibits high resistance to mechanical abrasion, impact, atmospheric conditions, and industrial chemicals.
It is used as a topcoat over intermediate coats in anti-corrosion epoxy systems. Optionally, it can be produced in a thixotropic form that does not sag on vertical surfaces.

SURFACE PREPARATION
* The surfaces to be primed or painted should be cleaned of all kinds of rust, rolling bark, dirt, dust, oil and grease, roughened using mechanically appropriate abrasives.
* It is especially recommended to make sandblast at least SA 2½ degree according to Swedish standard SIS 05 59 00 for surface cleaning.
* Abrasives provided surface roughness Medium G 30-85 micron degree ISO 8503-2 should be used.
MIXING PREPARATION
A and B component should be mixed with a low speed mixer for at least 3-4 minutes until a homogenous mixture is obtained by paying attention to mixture ratios. It is ready for application after mixing.
COATING SYSTEM
It can be applied by brush, roller and spray. Thinner is used for thinning in spray application. Paint thinned to viscosity at 18-20 sec/DIN CUP4/20°C can be applied with gun to give 35-40 micron dry film on metal. The mixture prepared by application with brush or roller is applied without diluting.
APPLICATION CONDITIONS
* Avoid application in very humid environments and below 10°C.
* Winding may occur in environments exposed to direct sunlight, but does not adversely affect the protective performance of the product.
