As BRV Epoksi Poliüretan Inc., the İzmir Çiğli Tramway Line Project Viaduct Bicycle Path Water-Based Epoxy Coating and Painting Project was successfully completed using our company’s own product, BRV POWER CONCRETE ASPHALT PAINT (3-component water-based epoxy concrete and asphalt paint).
Our bicycle path and asphalt paints, produced in compliance with TS EN 1504-2 and TS 13415 standards, are environmentally friendly and human health-conscious products, as they do not release harmful (VOC) components during application. Thanks to their decorative, vivid colors, they are clearly visible to drivers and cyclists, helping to reduce the risk of accidents. With their special formulation, our products are resistant to chemical substances and have high mechanical strength. Even under cold and hot climate conditions, they improve the abrasion resistance of the applied asphalt surface and maintain long-term performance.
Since they contain special UV-resistant color pigments, they never lose their decorative appearance or color intensity and do not require repeated application. They provide long-lasting durability in a single application.
Our bicycle path and asphalt paints add color to the environment, transforming dull and black asphalt surfaces into more vibrant, durable, and livable spaces.
The product used is a 3-component system:
- Component A: Water-based epoxy resin
- Component B: Hardener
- Component C: UV-resistant color pigment paste
Compared to other asphalt and concrete marking paints, our product offers superior mechanical and chemical properties (Taber abrasion resistance: 531.7 mg < 3000 mg standard limit), enabling the creation of a high-performance bicycle path with long service life.
The skid resistance values of the bicycle path applied with BRV POWER CONCRETE ASPHALT PAINT are:
- Dry method: 70
- Wet method: 68
These values ensure safe riding conditions by eliminating concerns regarding slip resistance and braking performance in both summer and winter conditions.
