FLOOR SC 1200 • Epoxy Floor Coating for Refrigerated Vehicle Containers

General Details

Two-Component, Solvent-Free Epoxy Refrigerated Vehicle Container Floor Coating

Product Description:

This two-component, solvent-free epoxy coating is a high-performance floor coating system specifically developed for refrigerated vehicle bodies and modular container floors. Thanks to its high water resistance and waterproof structure, it provides long-lasting protection in humid and frequently washed environments. Its antibacterial properties make it safe to use in areas where hygiene standards are critical.

Its special formula provides strong adhesion to metal, OSB, and fiber cement surfaces, ensuring high performance on various floor types. After completing its chemical reaction, it forms a dense, compact, and 100% hygienic layer on the surface. Its high mechanical strength and abrasion resistance make it resistant to forklift traffic and prevent deformation under heavy loads.

Its solvent-free composition ensures safety for the environment and user health, offering low odor and comfortable working conditions during application.

Areas of application:

  • Refrigerated vehicle bodies
  • Modular container floors
  • Transportation and storage areas requiring hygiene
  • Metal, OSB and fiber cement surfaces

SURFACE PREPARATION

* The surfaces to be applied must be free from oil, dust, and dirty.

* Free parts on the surface, cement grout on concrete surfaces and parts that prevent adhesion must be cleaned.

MIXING PREPARATION

A and B component should be mixed with a low speed mixer for at least 3-4 minutes until a homogenous mixture is obtained by paying attention to mixture ratios. It is ready for application after mixing.

COATING SYSTEM

If the floor is precast concrete panel, depending on the surface suction power, the SC 200-K Condensed Intermediate Primer is applied at 0.300-0.800 kg /m². If the floor is sheet metal, anticorrosive primer must be used. The minimum dry film thickness of these primers should be 100 microns. Also, the cleaning of the sheets must be at SA 2½ ranks

APPLICATION CONDITIONS

* Surface should have sufficient strength

* The surface must be clean and dry. Humidity must not exceed 5%, If the humidity is above this ratio, SC 220 100% Epoxy Primer for humid surfaces used on humid surfaces should be preferred.
