SURFACE PREPARATION
Concrete Surfaces:
Surfaces must be free from oil, dust, dirt, and contaminants.
Loose particles, cement laitance, and materials preventing adhesion must be removed.
Metal Surfaces:
Surfaces to be primed must be thoroughly cleaned of rust, mill scale, dirt, dust, oil, and grease.
MIXING INSTRUCTIONS
Component A and Component B must be mixed according to the specified mixing ratio using a low-speed mixer for at least 3–4 minutes until a homogeneous mixture is obtained.
After mixing, the material is ready for application.
COATING SYSTEM
Concrete substrates must be primed with SC 215 Solvent-Free Epoxy Primer or SC 270 Low Viscosity Epoxy Impregnation Primer.
For damp surfaces, SC 220 Epoxy Primer for 100% Damp Surfaces must be used.
Painting can be carried out after the primer has cured (12 hours at 25°C).
For brush or roller applications, epoxy-specific rollers must be used.
Where high UV resistance is required, application of PU 125 Protective Coating at a consumption rate of 0.150–0.200 kg/m² is recommended.
