BRV SC-200 K • Self-Leveling Epoxy Intermediate Layer

General Details

Two-Component, Ready-to-Use Epoxy Self-Leveling Intermediate Coat

Product Description:

This two-component epoxy self-leveling intermediate layer is designed to provide high performance and durability in industrial floors. Its ready-to-use formula makes application easy and spreads evenly across the surface. Its self-leveling structure eliminates irregularities on the floor surface, creating a smooth intermediate layer. By providing both thickness and mechanical strength between epoxy and polyurethane coatings, it creates long-lasting and durable floors.

Areas of application:

This product is suitable for use on factory and warehouse floors, work areas, loading zones, and industrial floors subjected to medium to heavy loads. In epoxy and polyurethane coating systems, it acts as a strong intermediate layer between the primer and the topcoat, enhancing floor performance. By ensuring even distribution on the floor surface, it optimizes both durability and aesthetic appearance.

SURFACE PREPARATION
Free particles and paint residues on the surface must be completely removed, cracks and breaks must be repaired, surfaces must be mechanically roughened (by blasting or milling) and dust removed with a vacuum cleaner. Application should begin after priming with SC 210 Multi-Purpose Epoxy Primer or SC 270 Low Viscosity Impregnation Primer.

MIXING PREPARATION
Components A and B should be mixed using a low-speed mixer for at least 3-4 minutes until a homogeneous mixture is obtained, paying attention to the mixing ratios. After mixing, it is ready for application.

COATING SYSTEM
Primer consumption varies between 0.300-0.800 kg/m² depending on the absorption capacity of the surface.

APPLICATION CONDITIONS
* Surfaces must have sufficient strength. The compressive strength of the concrete must be at least 25 N/mm², and the tensile strength must be at least 1.5 N/mm². * Before applying the top coat, the SC 200 K Self-Leveling intermediate coat must be fully cured.
* Avoid application below 10°C and in very humid environments.
* Pay attention to the mixing ratios.
